Environmental Assistance Representative (NY HELPS) responsible for helping small businesses determine regulatory applicability and achieve environmental compliance under state and federal requirements, interpreting regulations across programs (air, water, waste), addressing complaints/enforcement actions, tracking regulatory changes, providing guidance and resources, conducting outreach/training, coordinating with agencies and stakeholders, and traveling up to 15%; requires strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills and experience in environmental compliance; salary range $86,681–$109,650; location Albany, NY with NY HELPS program designation.
Required Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of professional experience developing, evaluating, coordinating, administering and/or promoting environmental programs designed to prevent and/or correct environmental pollution.
