Job Summary
Environmental Aide I in a hospital setting responsible for maintaining a safe, clean environment. Duties include cleaning patient rooms, linen handling, laundry processes, terminal cleaning, and routine sanitation; adherence to infection control practices; use of AIDET in interacting with patients and staff; responding to emergencies and hazardous material spills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours, including weekends; must read, write, and perform simple math; 75% attendance at departmental meetings and compliance with dress and attendance policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and perform simple math.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous related experience desirable
