Job Summary
Develop and maintain inspection, audit, and management system protocols to ensure regulatory compliance for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. Lead incident investigations, analyze injury data, and deploy counter measures to reduce lost days and worker's compensation claims. Implement safety programs covering lockout/tagout, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and hazardous waste management while overseeing chemical inventory and spill prevention plans. Serve as the safety program coordinator to drive training, crisis communication, and continuous improvement initiatives across two Jacksonville facilities. Manage active worker's compensation cases and support the deployment of EHS management system applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or related field OR the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-7 years' experience in Safety and Environmental Management in a manufacturing facility
- Working knowledge of Safety and Environmental Regulations, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
- TravelPercentage: 20
Desired Qualifications
- ASP, CSP, CHMM or other industry accepted certification programs are desirable
- Spanish Speaking (Professional Capabilities) a strong plus
