Job Summary
Lead and implement a comprehensive EHS program at a California manufacturing facility, driving a culture of safety and environmental responsibility while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs; conducting risk assessments and accident investigations; implementing corrective actions; developing and delivering safety and environmental training; mentoring the EHS team; and preparing regulatory and internal reports. Requires leadership experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in safety performance and sustainability initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing safety
- 3-5 years of experience leading teams and managing projects
- Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations
- Experience conducting risk assessments and audits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
