Environment Consultant, EMMP

Job Summary
Design, develop, and update technical specifications for terrestrial environmental management and monitoring plans (EMMP) in compliance with regulatory requirements. Define monitoring indicators, methodologies, and reporting frameworks, then coordinate and conduct field activities for soil, vegetation, wildlife, and habitat assessments. Perform monitoring for water, air, and noise quality while verifying data collection, analysis, and reporting to stakeholders. Analyze results to recommend mitigation measures and contribute to adaptive management strategies. Liaise with regulatory agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to prepare environmental performance reports. Develop cost estimates for EMMP, EBS, and EIA projects and provide input to engineering budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in environmental management, monitoring, and compliance for terrestrial projects
- Experience with environmental monitoring techniques (soil, water, air, noise, biodiversity)
- Familiarity with EIA, EMMP, and EBS processes
- Ability to use data analysis tools (Excel, GIS, or statistical software)
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and coordinate field activities
- Experience with field surveys and sampling protocols
- Budgeting and cost estimation skills for environmental projects
