Job Summary
Entry-level Conservation Campaign Associate to build coalitions, organize traditional and social media attention, lobby elected officials, research and write reports, recruit volunteers and interns, and run a grassroots campaign office during the summer. Responsibilities include coordinating outreach to diverse organizations, organizing news conferences and opinion pieces, meeting decision makers to advocate for campaign goals, analyzing data to influence public debate, recruiting volunteers and staff, and managing a summer office with fundraising goals. Abilities in leadership, writing, public speaking, and organization are highlighted, with training in advocacy and ongoing oversight by an experienced advocate.
