Job Summary
Dust, mop, sweep, and polish store areas while operating buffers and floor scrubbers. Manage trash and bathroom sanitation, adhering to ISO regulations, company policies, and state safety standards. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, reaching, and processing donated items with or without accommodations. Work extended periods standing, walking, or in varying conditions such as heat, cold, or dust. Full-time staff work four eight-hour days in a row, while part-time staff work the remaining three days.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to push, pull, lift, up to 30lbs. with or without accommodations
- The ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
- The ability to bend, reach and grasp throughout the work day
- The ability to physically process (both loading and unloading) donated items with or without accommodations
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial or custodian experience
