Job Summary
Examine work orders to determine specifications and sample verification, then set up machines per jacket specifications and order requirements. Inspect product quality against guidelines, adjust equipment for uniform packing, and maintain accurate counts of envelopes across boxes, cartons, and skids. Check orders throughout production to ensure accurate labeling, printing, and packaging, while assisting with paper jam removal and scheduled preventative maintenance. Transport finished goods to appropriate areas and fill in as the Material Handler when needed. This role requires stamina for 8–12 hour shifts on concrete, manual dexterity for fine motor manipulation, and the ability to perform math with whole numbers and decimals. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience SETTING UP ORDERS on a machine specifically in a production/manufacturing facility
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Manual dexterity
- Strong initiative
- Team player
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for the duration of a scheduled shift (8–12 hours)
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally from floor to waist and waist to shoulder
- Constant repetitive grasping and fine motor manipulation of paper materials and machine components
- Frequent twisting of the torso and lifting above shoulder height
- Tactile/touch sensitivity in hands and digits
- Near and far visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to perform these functions in a manufacturing environment that may include high noise levels, varying temperatures, and paper dust

- Prior Manufacturing experience setting up production orders on a machine using hand tools
