Job Summary
Operate converting equipment to produce envelopes in a 1st shift (6am-2pm) setting, performing quality checks, inspecting samples, and signing off on specifications. Maintain production records and equipment logs, assemble/disassemble carton supplies, monitor safety and housekeeping, support new operator training, and maintain forklift certification while complying with standard work and job specs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three years manufacturing or packaging experience (envelope or printing industries preferred)
- Accurate math skills
- Ability to read a ruler
- Attention to precision and detail
- Positive communication and openness to process improvement
