Job Summary
Develop mechanical structures and integrate electrical components for unmanned air systems, ensuring functional alignment between mechanics and electronics. Design CAD models, technical drawings, and bill of materials while managing structural and strength calculations for prototypes. Collaborate with software and production teams to support technical proofs and maintain system documentation. This role involves full responsibility from initial concept to deployable systems at Argus Interception, a German startup building autonomous drone interception technology.
Required Qualifications
- abgeschlossenes Studium in Maschinenbau, Mechatronik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik oder vergleichbar
- Erfahrung in der mechanischen Konstruktion
- Erfahrung im Rapid Prototyping
- Erfahrung in der Systemintegration
- Grundkenntnisse in der elektrischen Konstruktion, Verkabelung und elektrischen Sicherheit
- sicheres Arbeiten mit CAD-Tools wie SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360 oder vergleichbaren Programmen
- sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
