Job Summary
Conceive, develop, and implement embedded software on ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, prioritizing STM32 and FreeRTOS real-time operating systems. Optimize existing firmware components within a comprehensive sensor library landscape and integrate standard bus systems such as CANopen, IO-Link, Profinet, and EtherCAT into safety-critical systems. Test software and hardware modules while documenting functional safety aspects including SiL and PLd. Analyze and specify software requirements in coordination with product management and clients, then conduct code reviews with colleagues to drive collective development. Manage partial projects with full ownership and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams. This role sits within TWK's long-standing sensor development division, focusing on functional safety for industrial machinery.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, technischen Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Systemtechnik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Erfahrung in der Embedded-Software-Entwicklung
- Sicherer Umgang mit C
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse
- mindestens gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Präzise und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
- Ergebnisorientiertes, eigenverantwortliches Denken und Handeln
- Ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit und kommunikative Stärke
Desired Qualifications
- Kenntnisse in Python, .NET und/oder C#
- Kenntnisse in der Nachrichtentechnik (Buskommunikation, Funksysteme)
- Erfahrung mit Echtzeitbetriebssystemen auf Mikrocontrollern
- Vertrautheit mit Git als Versionsverwaltungssystem
