Job Summary
Entry Operator (Night Shift) responsible for operating the entry end of the coating line, loading/unloading coils, measuring gauge/width, inspecting coils for defects, accurately entering coil information into Oracle, allocating raw coils per production schedule, and maintaining a clean work area. Requires ability to work up to 12-hour shifts, pass background check and drug test, and use PPE in manufacturing areas. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and basic computer skills is preferred; cross-training on other operating roles and adherence to SOPs is expected. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One year of operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
- Time Management – prioritizing work to meet internal and/or external customer demands
- Good communication skills
- Mobile equipment operations skills
