Job Summary
Operate and maintain remediation systems at industrial and commercial sites across New England, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. Inspect equipment to evaluate performance and identify malfunctions, then perform maintenance to restore compliance. Collect samples from monitoring wells, recovery wells, and stormwater sources, while recording and evaluating system performance data. Oversee subcontractors involved in environmental remediation and system repairs. Requires valid driver's license, use of a personal vehicle, and willingness to perform physical labor outdoors year-round. Required Qualifications
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Strong mechanical skills
- Understanding of environmental and health & safety regulations and performing work in a compliant manner with the regulations and facility safety requirements
- Willingness to support the project team to service clients and complete projects on time and on budget
- Ability to perform physical labor, including the ability to physically move around outdoors in various terrains, occasionally lift and carry objects and equipment, and climb ladders to access areas
- Use of a personal vehicle and valid driver's license to travel between worksites
- Field work year-round, most of which is outdoors
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with remediation systems and site construction
- Familiarity with environmental equipment and sampling techniques
- Wastewater Treatment Licensure
- Valid OSHA 40 HAZWOPER Certification
- 8-Hour Refresher course certification
