Job Summary
Assist engineers in research on commercial building projects and review project files for compliance with Standards and protocols. Learn laser scanning for 3D model creation of buildings, then travel to assist with field notes, laser scanning, and equipment. Manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information while maintaining excellent written and verbal communications. This role supports the Virtual Design & Construction team on innovative global projects, offering opportunities for certifications and scholarships. Schedule is 20 to 40 hours per week in the Decatur, TX office.
Required Qualifications
- Position would need to work 20 to 40 hours per week in our Decatur, TX office
- Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and able to take responsibility in a proactive approach to daily tasks
- Flexible attitude
- Able and willing to adopt a flexible approach to work
Desired Qualifications
- Desire to obtain the Certificate of Development in BIM, Part 1 certification (CD-BIM.com) is a plus
- Experience working in the commercial building industry is a plus
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills
