Job Summary
Design and implement new capabilities in the F-15 Operational Flight Program for USAF and international customers. Assist with the design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle while gathering information to translate customer requirements into initial designs. Support systems integrations by developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs. Debug and resolve issues to ensure software reliability, while participating in user inquiry handling and troubleshooting technical issues. Implement emerging technologies and tools, and develop processes to track team and supplier performance against project plans. Shift 1; Entry Level; $78,200.00 - $105,800.00. Requires U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance post-start
- 1+ years of experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
- 1+ years of experience with object-oriented programming language
- 1+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
- U.S. Citizenship
- U.S. Person (as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 4+ years of directly related work experience
- 8+ years of related, relevant experience
- Agile/SAFe development experience
- Experience with DevOps tools, such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory
- Desirable programming languages include: Ada, C, C++, Python
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels
- Experience developing embedded real-time software
- Experience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Relocation based on candidate eligibility
