Job Summary
Place computer-cut vinyl or graphic images onto substrates, prepare materials by cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning, and weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Operate and maintain printers, perform quality assurance by reading work orders and proofing for errors, and execute finishing operations like laminating and mounting. Report inventory levels to managers and clean storage areas. Requires standing for four hours or more and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ideal for candidates with one to two years of sign production experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
- Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
- Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
- Ability to use light power equipment
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred
