Job Summary
Perform entry-level mechanical repairs, including oil changes, tire services, and basic electrical diagnostics. Complete assigned training programs, evaluations, and e-learning within designated timeframes. Conduct CSA inspections, emergency road service calls, and minor trailer maintenance. Maintain shop cleanliness, organize parts and tools, and accurately complete work orders. Adhere to all safety policies and OSHA training requirements while providing professional customer service. This role requires a valid driver's license, DOT Medical Card, and availability for weekends and holidays. Join a team with a clear growth path and paid ASE testing bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to be insured to drive company vehicles
- Reliable transportation and phone
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (if applicable)
- Demonstrated commitment to friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
- Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with team members
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
- Ability to work in shop and roadside environments under varying conditions
- Physical attendance at the primary work location is required
- Ability to complete TIA tire training
- DOT Medical Card required at Boss Shops
- Ability to obtain ASE, DOT, and other relevant certifications as required
- Successful completion of internal technician training programs
