Job Summary
Conduct mobile patrols of assigned site areas, roadways, and parking lots while protecting the site from trespassing, unauthorized entry, theft, and property damage. Respond to security calls, intrusion alarms, and emergencies, providing immediate assistance including rescue, CPR, and first aid. Perform initial investigations of accidents, crimes, and incidents, then prepare clear, accurate incident reports. Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and vendors as needed, while collaborating with employees to provide security training and support awareness campaigns. Recommend security improvements and policies to Corporate Security Management. Maintain a professional, trustworthy presence and work independently with sound judgment. This role requires rotating shifts, weekends, overtime, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Law enforcement, military, and/or corporate security experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain all certifications and training required by the applicable jurisdiction
- Ability to obtain and maintain the State of Hawaii Guard Card in accordance with HRS 463-10.5
- Must be able to pass drug screenings and criminal background checks
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to work more than eight hours in a day when necessary
- Ability to perform mobile patrols throughout the assigned site
- Ability to respond to emergencies, alarms, security incidents, accidents, and other calls for service
- Ability to maintain a professional and composed demeanor in emergency situations
- Ability to protect confidential information and sensitive physical and information assets
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- CPR and First Aid training/certification
