Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative responsible for acquiring new residential customers by visiting assigned leads, conducting consultative needs analyses, presenting sales proposals, and supporting Spectrum’s growth and customer satisfaction. The role involves 90% outdoor activity, requires travel to and from territories, and emphasizes meeting monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services; it offers a base salary with incentives and the potential to exceed $100,000 in total compensation, along with employee benefits and Spectrum services. Location: Montgomery, AL (onsite field sales).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Engaging interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen, formulate needs-based sales strategies, and articulate pitches
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
