Job Summary
Entry Level Outside Sales Representative responsible for acquiring residential customers by visiting leads, conducting needs analyses, presenting compelling sales proposals for Spectrum’s telecom offerings (high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video), completing sales documentation, and achieving monthly targets. The role involves 90% outdoor work, extensive travel to assigned territories, and building relationships through face-to-face interactions while leveraging a base salary plus incentives that can push total compensation over $100,000. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel to assigned territories and company facilities
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Engaging interpersonal skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Experience in sales or related field preferred but not required
