Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative at Spectrum responsible for acquiring new residential customers in assigned territory through in-person visits, conducting needs analyses, presenting proposals, and meeting monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services. Requires high school diploma, strong communication, ability to travel, valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, willingness to work evenings/weekends, and independence. Outdoors-heavy role with minimal time in office; includes training and travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Engaging interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen, formulate needs based sales strategies, and articulate pitches to sell products and services
- A passion to succeed and strong personal drive to sell to prospective customers
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, and as business needs dictate to maximize prospective customer contact
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
