Job Summary
Entry-Level Sales Executive at Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL) in San Jose, CA. Responsible for maintaining and growing a client base of hospital and physician customers within the defined territory, obtaining new business, and exceeding territory sales objectives. Develop and present personalized sales presentations to physicians, laboratory staff, clinics, and group practices; demonstrate how MDL's PCR-based testing and services can benefit patient care. Establish and maintain long-term client relations, manage a full sales pipeline, provide territory reports, and collaborate with the Regional Manager to align territory development with company objectives. Travel within the coverage area and occasional nationwide travel required. Strong communication, multitasking, and MS Office skills essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- 1 to 3 years of sales experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, email and internet functions
- Ability to develop and present personalized sales presentations to professional audiences (physicians, laboratory staff, clinics, and group practices)
- Ability to maintain and grow a client base of hospital and physician customers
- Ability to develop and maintain a full business pipeline and territory management
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
