Job Summary
Entry-Level Sales Executive responsible for maintaining and growing a client base of hospital and physician customers within a defined territory. Achieve annual sales and profit objectives by acquiring new business, presenting new test information, up selling, and identifying new revenue sources. Develop and present personalized sales presentations to professional audiences (physicians, laboratory staff, clinics, and group practices); demonstrate how MDL's PCR-based molecular testing capabilities benefit patient care. Establish long-term client relations through scheduled calls, maintain a full sales pipeline, manage the territory, provide timely reporting of pipeline and activity, and collaborate with the Regional Manager to align territory development with company objectives. Requires travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide; strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential.
Required Qualifications

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions
- Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide
- 1 to 3 years of experience is preferred, but not required
- A bachelor's degree, or two years sales experience, or any similar combination of education and experience is preferred, but not required
