Job Summary
Entry-Level Sales Executive responsible for growing MDL's national client base of hospitals and physician offices by presenting test information, expanding test offerings, and developing a full pipeline within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include achieving annual sales and profit objectives, obtaining new business, presenting to professional audiences (physicians, laboratory staff, clinics, group practices), establishing long-term client relations, maintaining territory management, and providing timely reporting. Requires travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide; strong English communication skills; Spanish proficiency preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail, and internet is expected. A bachelor's degree is preferred (or two years of sales experience or equivalent), with 1–3 years of experience preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or two years sales experience or any similar combination of education and experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience preferred but not required
- Must be fluent in English; Spanish proficiency preferred
- Must demonstrate energy, motivation, enthusiasm, integrity; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions
