Job Summary
As an Entry Level Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that flight-critical parts produced at Acutec meet aerospace quality standards. Essential duties include following work instructions, inspecting parts visually and dimensionally, communicating quality information with machine operators, and interpreting technical drawings. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, some related experience, and effective communication skills. Familiarity with inspection tools such as CMM and statistical process control is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Some related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form
- Ability to use various inspection tooling and gauging
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to perform statistical process control input and interpret statistical data
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations on fractions, percentages, and decimals and metric conversion
