Job Summary
Support the Navy Participating Acquisition Resource Manager (PARM) and Senior Acquisition Analysts team by assisting with Program Objective Memorandum (POM) drills, tracking funding, and scheduling Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs). Collect program data to prepare status reports, briefings, and presentations while organizing, researching, and managing multiple tasks. Track and update action items, Task Planning Sheets (TPSs), and attend meetings with cross-functional teams, field offices, and vendors. Deliver quality products on time through independent work and strong communication skills. This role supports a NAVSEA Ship Acquisition Program in the DMV Area, contingent upon contract award, requiring a DoD Secret Clearance and proficiency with MS Office365.
Required Qualifications
- Some professional or federal/DoD relevant work experience
- Proficient using MS Office365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, research, and prioritization skills
- Meticulous attention to detail in document review and quality assurance
- Ability to learn quickly on the job and carry out tasks with minimal guidance
- Ability to operate independently within a team environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 year of Navy acquisition finance/budget, contract/CDRL, logistics, or program/project management experience
- Knowledge of SCN funding
- Familiar with Task Planning Sheet (TPS), Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), and NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS)
