Job Summary
Operate production equipment and assist co-workers or maintenance personnel in basic maintenance procedures. Perform duties such as sticker operation, banding, paperwrapping, stacking, and sawmill sorting while rotating to different positions for cross-training. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including the 14-step lockout/tagout procedure and proper use of PPE like hearing protection and gloves. Work 10-hour shifts inside or outside the plant, utilizing peripheral vision to monitor forklifts and co-workers in a high-noise environment.
