Job Summary

Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical analysis for non-conforming products while supporting cross-functional engineering teams. Draft dispositions for design non-conformances, prepare technical communications, and evaluate fleet data to identify product improvement opportunities. Participate in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams, and assist in designing interim structural repairs to restore damaged aircraft components. Daily work involves exposure to factory environments including stairs, trip hazards, high noise areas, chemical hazards, and airplane interiors. Requires flexible 9-to-12-month training rotation with variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Applicants must have completed all degree requirements by the application date
  • Degree ABET accredited
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • US based job, US Person required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in reading, interpreting, and generating electrical schematics and technical specifications
  • Experience with or knowledge of structural design principles for aircraft primary structure (e.g., fatigue, damage tolerance, corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, and repair techniques)
  • Experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Aerospace, fabrication, manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing experience
  • Production engineering experience with relevant technological knowledge
  • Experience in solving simple to complex problems
  • Electrical/mechanical system knowledge, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair methodology
  • Experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB / LE) Authority (including participating in Material Review Board activities related to aircraft/component/system/circuit card repairs)
  • Functional system level and component level testing
