Job Summary
The Portable Device Technician/Scheduler position involves programming and preparing Home Sleep Testing devices, conducting patient education, uploading study data, and scheduling outbound calls for home sleep studies. Key responsibilities include managing device operations, documenting interactions in EMR, and meeting productivity targets of 30 outbound calls and 15 scheduled appointments per day. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and prior experience in a clinical setting. Preferred qualifications include experience with sleep medicine technology.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior success in a clinical, patient-facing, or scheduling/call outreach role
- Strong verbal communication and patient education skills
- Basic proficiency navigating clinical or scheduling software systems
- Demonstrated reliability, organization, and ability to meet daily targets
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as an HST Technician or within Sleep Medicine
- Familiarity with NOX, Cadwell, Somnomedics, Wesper, SleepImage, or comparable HST platforms
- Experience tracking, maintaining, or processing diagnostic equipment
