Entry Level Phlebotomy

Phlebotomist (part-time) at BioLife in Davenport, IA: greet donors, perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis-related tasks, monitor donors, and manage donor flow using the DIS system. Responsibilities include setting up and troubleshooting plasmapheresis equipment, stocking supplies, recording donor measures (pulse, blood pressure, temperature, hematocrit), and coordinating donors to the donor floor. You’ll support center operations with process-improvement initiatives (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen) and report to the Plasma Center Manager. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to stand for shifts, willingness to work evenings/weekends/holidays, ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and comfort with potential bloodborne pathogen exposure. Helpful experience in a customer- or patient-facing role. Compensation starts at $17.00 per hour at the Davenport center, with typical benefits discussed by location.
