Entry Level Phlebotomist

Entry Level Phlebotomist role at BioLife/Takeda in Kokomo, IN. You will perform as a plasma donor screener and conduct phlebotomy to support plasma center operations, greeting donors, answering phones, recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, maintaining donor charts in the Donor Information System, and coordinating donor compensation. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours, 3 or more days per week. Emphasis on reliability, customer service, safety, and adherence to approved procedures; potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1). Prior experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful but not mandatory. This is a part-time position in Kokomo, Indiana with start hourly wage of $16.00, subject to state/local minimum wage requirements.
