Entry - Level Pharmacy Technician

Welcome patients at all pharmacy entry points with compassion and acknowledge their needs immediately. Process orders in person and by phone, direct patients to products, and refer prescription and over-the-counter questions to the pharmacist. Use the pharmacy computer to search profiles, determine fill dates, quote cash prices, check medication counts, and enter invoices across drop-off, will call, drive-thru, and phone channels. Transcribe prescription data accurately to generate custom labels and maintain neat work environments while following all state, federal, and HIPAA policies. Assist with inventory ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating drugs, and finalize sales using the cash register per established procedures. Complete required training programs and exams, and answer telephone inquiries politely to resolve customer concerns efficiently.
