Job Summary
Entry Level Pharmacy Technician at Meijer in Chesterfield, MI. You will support the pharmacy team by retrieving medications from inventory, entering customer and prescription data into the dispensing system, creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims, processing paperwork for prescriptions, ordering medications for the Pharmacy Department, stocking medications, and promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services. Strong customer service, basic math, typing, organizational skills, and teamwork are essential to maintain an orderly pharmacy environment and protect patient confidentiality.
