Job Summary
Inspect structures for termites and wood-destroying organisms, identifying signs like mud tubes and damaged wood across crawlspaces, basements, and attics. Execute termite control services including trenching, rodding, drilling, and baiting system installation while adhering to Pennsylvania pesticide regulations and label directions. Prepare accurate diagrams and documentation, then explain findings and treatment scope to customers. Perform follow-up inspections and maintain equipment. Requires valid driver's license, ability to lift 50lbs, and willingness to work 30% inside and 70% outside in Uniontown, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED Equivalent
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Uniontown, PA 15401
- Knowledge of termite biology, behavior, and conducive conditions
- Understanding of structural treatment methods and application techniques
- Familiarity with pesticide label interpretation and safe handling practices
- Working knowledge of construction features affecting termite control (footings, slabs, crawlspaces, drainage)
- Strong inspection and observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to perform precise drilling, trenching, and chemical applications
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical findings to customers
- Ability to document inspections and treatments accurately
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- The ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50lbs unassisted
- Ability to climb stairs frequently while carrying equipment and supplies
- Comfortable and able to stop, kneel, crouch or crawl through enclosed spaces for long periods of time
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
- Driver's License (Required)
