Job Summary
Part-time Medical Screener role at BioLife/Takeda. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting donors, screening new and repeat plasma donors, recording donor vital signs and finger-stick results, maintaining donor charts in the Donor Information System, coordinating donor compensation, and identifying opportunities for center process improvement. The role supports plasma center operations, including performing as a plasma donor screener and assisting with phlebotomy, with shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided, and the position emphasizes customer service and reliability in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment. Starting hourly wage is $16.00, with compensation aligned to state/local minimums as applicable; location specified as USA - OK - Broken Arrow.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1)
- 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
