Job Summary
Coordinate patient information and documentation to obtain durable medical equipment, acting as a liaison between the company, patients, referral sources, and insurance providers. Collect insurance details, schedule physician evaluations, and prepare all required documentation for approval. Keep sales representatives updated on order status and explain equipment, coverage, and payment options prior to delivery. Support up to two sales reps while maintaining confidentiality and communicating effectively with patients and medical professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Intermediate computer skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to develop relationships
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, be detail oriented, and organized
- Minimum 2 - years of administrative support experience
