Entry Level - Materials Testing Technician - Londonderry

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
• •We are not able to sponsor employment Visas at this time
• •You will often be the only S.W. COLE team member on job sites
• •Safely conducting yourself and the equipment we entrust to you is a must
• •You will be provided with what you need to be safe on job sites including safety-toe boots
• •You will lift and carry samples of various construction materials including soil and concrete
• •You will walk through construction sites
• •You will push a wheelbarrow
• •You will do some basic math
• •You will write or type your observations and test results
• •You will regularly utilize a computer or tablet
• •You will learn to read and understand design plans and specifications
• •You will work in our laboratory
• •You will be training for more certifications
• •You will earn industry specific certifications
• •You will participate in an internal leadership development program
• •You will participate in the Stephen W. Cole Emerging Leaders Program
• •You will include a cover letter to show us your writing skills
• •You will tell us why you are a good candidate to be our next team member
• •You will work on construction projects in New Hampshire and parts of Vermont and Massachusetts
• •You will typically be working Monday through Friday
• •You will have occasional weekend work based on project needs
• •You will have some early mornings and late evenings
• •You will have regular overtime during the construction season
• •You will drive to construction sites
• •You will perform field tests on materials like concrete, soil, aggregate, asphalt, grout, mortar, and steel
• •You will interact with many people from other companies
• •The work can be physical at times
• •You will work year-round
