Job Summary
Entry-Level Materials & Logistics Specialist responsible for owning the flow of parts and materials for internal and external customers, covering shipping/receiving, packing, labeling, and coordinating with authorized freight companies. Participates in executing production plans via purchase orders for raw materials and subcontract services, releasing material to the shop, and maintaining inventory. Requires HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years in an office/shop environment, proficiency with MS Office and Epicor, valid driver’s license, forklift certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong organization and communication skills. Location: Barrington, NH; shift: 1st shift; company: TURBOCAM. This role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, customer communication, and continuous improvement in cost, efficiency, and quality.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in an office or shop environment preferred
- Good math skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks; attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
- Intermediate understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and Epicor
- Must possess valid driver’s license from his/her state of residence; forklift certifiable
- Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 50 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time
