Job Summary

Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer - Harness responsible for developing, qualifying, and implementing manufacturing processes for flight and non-flight cable harness assemblies; serves as the manufacturing liaison to engineering, reviews harness drawings, writes work instructions, supports production, and collaborates to optimize manufacturability. Requires first shift work, a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 0-2+ years in harness/cable assembly environments, and familiarity with IPC-WHMA-A-620, NASA-STD-8739.4, IPC J-STD-001; includes use of MES/MRP/ERP systems, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring products from NPI to full-scale production. Must be eligible for U.S. security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 0-2+ years working in a harness/cable assembly environment
  • Familiarity with IPC-WHMA-A-620, NASA-STD-8739.4, and IPC J-STD-001
  • Technical problem-solving skills including root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Experience with MES, MRP, and ERP systems
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
