Job Summary
Position: Entry-Level Librarian supporting organization, accessibility, and discoverability of library resources; duties include original and copy cataloging of print/electronic/multimedia materials using standards (MARC, RDA, AACR2, LOC headings), maintaining bibliographic and authority records, collection maintenance, library instruction, and reference/research assistance; includes scheduled circulation desk coverage. Ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills and is prepared to grow within an academic library environment; MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program required or expected within six months. Training and mentoring provided.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in library science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited program, or completion expected within six months.
