Job Summary
Process blood components according to established policy and SOPs, performing review of manufacturing documentation and quality control results. Execute calibration and maintenance tasks on equipment, including centrifuges, while identifying, troubleshooting, and documenting problems affecting blood manufacturing quality. Assist with validation of new equipment and manufacturing processes, and perform data entry within multiple computer programs. Work Tuesday through Saturday from 2pm to 10:30pm. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, with proficiency in computers and MS Office preferred. Handle repetitive motions and fine motor skills while managing ambient noise and varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- The ability to multitask and set priorities
- Proficiency with computers
- Use hands/wrists to include fine/simple/gross motor skills and machinery usage
- Lift/carry 26-50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher
- Experience with MS Office
