Job Summary
Entry Level Kitchen Position at DIG on 4th in Manhattan. Responsibilities include prepping, mixing, and cooking vegetables, proteins, grains using recipes as a guide; gaining exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and delivery/packout; communicating menu offerings and ingredients to guests; supporting the team during peak and off-peak times; multi-tasking in a fast-paced kitchen; maintaining food safety standards; adhering to DIG’s anti-discrimination policies; and growing toward chef-in-training with opportunities for growth, team collaboration, and a shared mission in rebuilding the food system. Physical requirements include frequent lifting up to 25 pounds and occasional up to 50 pounds, with accommodations available.
