Job Summary
Conduct preliminary investigations using social media and database research, then perform covert surveillance from your vehicle to track and capture high-quality video evidence. Draft detailed, court-ready investigative reports summarizing activity and key findings, while finalizing case files by submitting reports and uploading footage via personal laptop. Work closely with a field supervisor receiving regular guidance and mentorship. Most surveillance cases start at 6:00 AM, with typical workdays ranging from 3 to 12 hours; weekends and holidays are common workdays. This independent role often requires long hours alone in your vehicle regardless of weather conditions. You will need an active driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle, and strong computer proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Active driver's license that is not currently suspended or revoked
- Proof of auto insurance coverage
- A reliable laptop
- A cell phone
- Internet service
- Strong computer & internet proficiency
- Excellent communication, verbal & writing skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holiday work
- Must be able to work 3-12 hour days
- Must be able to work early mornings (starting at 6:00AM)
