Job Summary
Entry-Level Instrument Operator at Atlas Surveying, Inc. join a team-based role supporting field surveying operations under the guidance of experienced surveyors. Responsibilities include assisting in the setup and operation of surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, data collectors), learning basic surveying techniques, holding survey rods, measuring distances, recording data accurately, following Crew Chief instructions, maintaining equipment, and transporting gear to job sites while adhering to safety protocols. Required Qualifications
- No prior experience in land surveying required; training provided
- Valid driver's license with no infractions for minimum 3 years to drive company vehicle
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Physical ability to lift 75 lbs
