Entry Level - Industrial Plumber/Steamfitter

Entry level role performing layout, design, installation, fabrication, maintenance, testing and repair of mechanical utility piping systems (water, gas, steam, air, hot water, chilled water) and related components for systems including heating, air-conditioning, and other utilities. Reads system prints and schematics; moves and works in confined spaces; climbs ladders, scaffolding and aerial lifts. Installs and repairs pipes, fixtures, valves, supports, and fittings; modifies lengths; uses saws and pipe cutters; collaborates with contractors and other trades; conducts inspections and tests for leaks; adheres to health and safety standards and building codes. Uses CMMS to process work orders, accesses Building Management System to review HVAC systems; may operate forklifts for material movement; participates in safety and environmental practices and supports material ordering and job logistics.
