Job Summary
Develop operating plans and recovery plans while analyzing data using statistics, operations research, and trend modeling to improve schedule performance, lower costs, and enhance quality. Conduct capacity and constraint-based analysis, refine precedence networks, and develop solutions to routine technical problems through the application of Lean concepts. Collaborate cross-functionally to gather data for process improvements by observing, documenting, and collecting information in manufacturing areas or on aircraft during production phases. Schedule work plans, perform historical data analysis, and lead staffing and process improvement initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields, intermediate Excel knowledge, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. This 1st shift role offers relocation and a salary range of $69,700 – $94,300.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- Intermediate excel knowledge
- Able to walk, stand, and enter aircraft via steps or ladders
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
- An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start
- US Citizenship
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- 100% onsite at the San Antonio, TX location
- 1st shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- Aircraft / Aerospace industry experience
- Experience with 3D Computer aided design tools such as IVT
- Experience with Boeing standard scheduling tools such as Aurora
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
- Experience conducting/leading Time studies and reporting out to leadership
