Job Summary
Entry Level HVAC Tech trains on-the-job to perform preventive maintenance on residential HVAC units, assists with minor repairs and troubleshooting, maintains a clean and organized job site, and supports documentation such as repair logs and replacement forms. Learns to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC equipment, works as part of a team with emphasis on safety and quality, and develops hands-on skills for long-term growth in the field.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to complete work to a deadline
- Motivated to learn all that is necessary with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential HVAC equipment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors, on roofs and in attics/crawlspaces
