Job Summary
Drive routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems by operating hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and service furnaces, condensers, and compressors. Build client relationships through strong communication while educating homeowners on system maintenance and identifying opportunities to improve home comfort. Document all service performed and recommendations by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and records in accordance with quality and safety standards. Participate in an 8-week paid technical training program at the Champions University center in Pleasanton, CA, developing skills in mechanical aptitude and physical tasks like climbing ladders and working in attics.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather
- Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces and on roofs
- Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image
- Provide exceptional customer service while on the job site
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis
- Results driven in a high-energy environment
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to follow directions and work independently
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
