Entry Level HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems by operating hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and service furnaces, condensers, and compressors. Build client relationships through strong communication while educating homeowners on system maintenance and identifying opportunities to improve home comfort. Document all service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and records. Complete tasks in accordance with company quality and safety standards while participating in educational opportunities to update job knowledge. This role includes an 8-week paid technical training program at our Pleasanton center for entry-level candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather
- Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces and on roofs
- Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image
- Provide exceptional customer service while on the job site
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis
- Results driven in a high-energy environment
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to follow directions and work independently
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- No previous residential HVAC experience is necessary for this position, but is sure doesn't hurt
- Experience with heavy customer service, sales, solar, plumbing, electrical, roofing, auto mechanic, labor or landscaping
