Entry Level Helpdesk Technician I

Job Summary
Provide first-level helpdesk support to staff for company-supported applications; troubleshoot computer problems, assist with maintaining secure and efficient internal computing infrastructure, and support basic E-Commerce order processing. Respond to help desk requests via phone, email, and ticketing system; guide users through software/hardware issues; escalate more complex problems per defined process. Maintain documentation and logs of inquiries; identify and prioritize user problems to ensure timely resolution. Assist with daily E-Commerce order processing with vendors and provide other E-Commerce technical assistance as needed; participate in miscellaneous assignments/projects as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One or more years training in Computer Support
- A+, N+, or Microsoft Certifications a plus
- 1-2 years of technical or customer support experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PC operating systems and office productivity tools
- Experience with Helpdesk systems (ManageEngine experience a plus)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
